Biodiversity

This visualization depicts the diversity of habitats that occur in the country. Each rectangle represents a major habitat type. The size of the rectangle is proportional to the proportion of the country’s land and inland water area covered by this habitat type. Hovering over a rectangle will reveal the name of the habitat and the percent of the country’s land and inland water area covered by this habitat type. Clicking on a rectangle will bring up a description of the habitat (when available) and a map of where the habitat is found in and near the country.
